Wooden Earrings
I realize I'm deviating from our original wood intentions, however, I'm addicted as to what you can make with a scroll saw. I whipped up these earrings last night. I made them out of balsa wood, because I needed a wood that was lightweight. I did come across a few problems while working on these.

1. The wood is SO soft that you need to be careful when you are drilling the hole for the top.
2. Spray your shellac over the stain and let it dry completely before you start to paint.
3. When or if you are attaching any beads, remember that they will not lay as well against the wood so hold them tightly when stringing.
