Wooden Art

This past weekend, I worked vigorously trying to create a wooden ring. I have been working on this idea for the past month. I recently bought a small vice that attaches to a drill press. (Which I also just bought). I worked with wooden Dow rods, cutting them with a miter saw into inch long peices. Drilling the hole was nearly impossible at first, it took many tries to drill without having a weak base. I'll post the picture of the final project, however, my next feat is discovering a good/ unique wooden finish. This morning, I found some other jewelry pieces made from wood.
